Committee Launches Planning Effort for TCUSD/TCHS Golden Gala
Save the dates: October 15-16, 2004!
Alumni and friends of the Temple City schools are planning a HUGE event for October 2004 celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of TCUSD & TCHS.
The homecoming game October 15th will be followed on the 16th with an all day festival at North Field.
The goal of the planning committee -- headed by Linda (Wolf) Payne and Kathy Keithley -- is to attract 5,000 people to the event. All 7 schools will be represented with booths, food, music, teacher tributes, memorabilia, memory wall, etc. The biggest challenge right now is getting the word out!
If you were at homecoming in October 2003, you saw the flyers. We will also need resources, and volunteers. If you can offer help, suggestions, Linda and I are open to hear!
