If you need multiple sites, e.g., for a school, an organization, a church or a small business, discounts are available for a minimum of thirty sites. E.g., use a Professional site for the organization and provide Premium sites or web logs for participants. It's a great benefit of membership. Train students in writing, journalism, etc., with their own sites. You can even resell the sites.

CIP Sitemaker™ Publishing Plans

All CIP Sitemaker plans are based on our standard Sitemaker service. To create your web site, start by ordering Sitemaker service, with or without the Quick Start Package that provides implementation and training by a certified Sitemaker designer to get you started. We'll contact you to arrange payment for the services you choose. Remember: Don't compare Sitemaker to cheap "hosting" deals; compare it to the combined cost of hosting plus the salary and benefits of a "webmaster" you may not need. Sitemaker not only organizes your web site; it provides comprehensive content management and gets your site online in minutes or hours, not weeks or months.

Technical support for custom features, e.g., proprietary database, custom forms, custom text and graphics and/or maintenance of originals of online content created by our staff. Storage and transfer volume bandwidth equal to Professional site plus surcharge over one gigabyte respectively. Two hours of monthly creative support are included. General quality assurance by way of periodic weekly review of client site(s) is also included. Does not include creation of custom features. Additional creative services are billed separately.

eCommerce eCommerce requires Sitemaker Professional or Sitemaker Enterprise, depending on the configuration of the site and the nature of the catalog. Ask your representattive for details.
If Clark Internet Publishing is to have any involvement with or responsibility for the content of a site after initial implementation, Sitemaker Enterprise is required. If services are resold to third parties, e.g., charges for directory listings, then additional charges may apply.
Storage & Bandwidth Incremental growth: 1 gigabyte storage and up to 5 gigabytes, per increment. Applies to all service packages. Exceptional storage or bandwidth over 150 percent of the average for all users of the package may incur an additional surcharge. Month $10.00

Customization

Private Domain Your site can respond to your own domain name. Register your domain with us or point it to our domain name servers (DNS). We must be one of the listed contacts for your domain, with access to the registrar's control panel. Annual renewal and administration fee are included after first year. Site must be established before implementation of domain. Contact your Sitemaker representative for details and procedures. (Sites without a private domain will have a URL similar to http://sites.ourdomain.com/yourname. Domain name registration, transfer and administration are included in the Quick Start Package and custom programs. Once $35.00
Customize Your Site
If you're not a do-it-yourself person, let our talented design team customize your site. We'll refer you to a qualified Sitemaker designer in your area, who will adapt your company or personal presentation to the Web using source materials like your company brochures or personal photo albums. A typical starter site includes optional activation of a calendar and inquiry form plus a photo gallery with up to five albums (photo editing fee may apply). Research and registration (or transfer) of your own domain is included. More comprehensive template-based and custom sites can be developed as well. All sites are hosted and published on our platform. Ask your representative for a quote. Charges are generally based on our general creative rate below. Minimum $495.00

If you do not choose a standard upgrade, you can add individual professional tools.

Contact Manager/Roster Maintain your member-user-employee list for global online access. Your roster maintains user contact information, with links to email form and external site. Each registrant can have links to email and external site. At your option you can provide a personal profile for each listing. Included in Sitemaker Professional. Surcharges may apply to large rosters. Month $25.00
Directory -
List Manager
Publish your own yellow pages or other directory. Your directory maintains basic organizational and contact information for each listing, with links to email form and external site. At your option you can provide a one-page "brochure" for each listing. Included in Sitemaker Professional. Surcharges may apply for large directories. Month $25.00
Forms Generator Build additional interactive forms. Create your own questionnaires, polls, and surveys. Use all question formats (short answer, scroll box, radio buttons, selection lists and checkboxes. Requires Sitemaker Professional. Included in Sitemaker Professional. Month $25.00
Forms Plus For a small fee, the Sitemaker team can capture and tabulate your results. This is a custom service; ask your representative for rates.

Electronic Mail

A fully professional web presence demands that you have email under your own name. If your site has its own domain, you are eligible to receive electronic mail at your own address, e.g., your_mailbox@your_domain.name. Retrieve mail from our POP server (setup of your email reader required) via your browser or mail program, or we'll forward it to your regular mailbox (easier). Budget $15 for implementation support and then $12 per year per mailbox. Sitemaker Premium and Professional packages includes a number of mailboxes. Many email services are available; contact your service representative for details.

Premium Email Three mailboxes are included in the standard Sitemaker program. Ask your customer service representative to activate your service.
Professional Email Extend the communication capabilities of your site. Ten mailboxes are included with Sitemaker Professional. If you require a large number of addresses, we can arrange almost any number of email services locally or in cooperation with a third-party provider. Includes spam filtering and other services. Additional services for work groups are available. Requires Sitemaker Professional and Private Domain. Ask your representative for details.

Technical Support

There is never a charge to help with Sitemaker during our regular business hours if the issue is a malfunctioning tool. "How-to" questions or training may incur a service charge per event, or you may choose to prepay a regular monthly fee for general content support, which saves you money compared to ad hoc charges.

Basic The basic Sitemaker service includes no direct technical support. All support is handled through the automated Help systems or by trouble reports. No Charge
Telephone Support Per Call Telephone consultation on any technical or creative topic is available from Sitemaker's development team during regular business hours 9-5 weekdays Pacific time. Prepaid Telephone Support Prepaid telephone support for all technical questions is included with Sitemaker Professional or Sitemaker Enterprise service. Other users can prepay any number of hours at any time to save money. Creative services may require an additional fee.

Creative Services

General Creative Services Editing of text and graphics by a Sitemaker-certified designer is available under a service agreement. Sitemaker's navigation and publishing tools can be integrated into custom sites hosted by us and our network of providers. Current users whose sites are hosted by Sitemaker and/or Clark IP pay lower fees than shown here. Contractual pricing is available for larger projects. Note: Your independent representative or reseller is free to charge different prices for these services or to contract for an alternate service package.
Design Consultation If you're not sure how you should proceed to get your business or organization "out there," one of our certified design consultants can help. We offer a two to four hour consultation and web planning service. We'll examine your existing communication tools (ads, brochures, letterhead, etc., and design a site for you, including a mock-up using a Sitemaker template. Half of the fee for the consultation is applicable to any service ordered within 30 days of our report.

Payment and Terms of Service

PAYMENT: Pay subscription and technical support fees conveniently using a major credit card or online check. We use either PayPal, a secure online payment system from eBay, the world's largest e-commerce site, or we may substitute an alternate payment processor for selected accounts. Limited financing may be available for projects whose value exceeds two thosand dollars.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Prices shown are intended only for budgeting purposes and are subject to change without notice. Actual prices are those stated in registration and contract forms. We reserve the right to resolve any conflict regarding pricing in our sole discretion. Because Sitemaker is made available through independed affiliated designers, we are not responsible for misunderstandings about the capabilities of the system arising from verbal descriptions. The best way to understand Sitemaker is to examine the examples. Sitemaker does not include use of SMTP server; bulk mailing is not allowed. User's actual current cost is available within the Editing Suite. Current pricing applies through end of current contract period for active users. Mainly, we promise to try to keep our systems on line and to make them better over time. You promise to pay your bills on time and to hold us harmless for the consequences of your own actions. Notes:

1 Certain limits on storage and bandwidth (file transfers) apply to all programs. E.g., the total number of pages in a Premium site including general purpose pages and articles is 365 and the total number of images that may be stored is 500, yielding an approximate storage alotment of ten megabytes based on our average client. Upgrades are available. Storage and bandwidth charges may be added to any CIP Sitemaker fee based on actual usage above 50 megabytes storage and/or one gigabyte transfers, or if your monthly usage exceeds 150 per cent of the average volumes of all users in your service category.

The information on this page is for budgeting purposes only. Fixed fees shown are for hosting, publishing and use of the CIP Sitemaker Editing Suite. Content editing normally incurs addtional fees. Actual pricing appears on the various forms and agreements, or contact your representative for current pricing. Affiliated designers are free to set their own fees for additional creative or support services. Hosting and publishing fees are payable in advance.
