Angelina for Office
A vegan chicken in every pot, and a recycled car in every landfill
Web Log
First blog/news post
This is placeholder news text. The editor is typing it in real time, but it's usually better to prepare it in a word processor and use tools like spell check. Most WPs can also export formatted for the Web. Editors receive training how to add content. We wanted to see how long this actually takes.

Comments can be enabled for members only or (not recommended) for the public.

Novice users can simple copy & paste; more experienced editors can use the full range of CSS styles

Start time: 5:32.
Uploaded the color image, which is automatically formatted for the available space (some image specifications apply).
We've also written one blog post.
We've added a simple position paper.
We have created the content by simply typing into forms. Normally we would suggest preparing content off line and then uploading or copying and pasting.

Interruption: 5:58. We'll be back.

Resuming: 6:07. Next we'll add an image gallery and upload the first photo.

Ready: 6:24. Site has blog, image gallery, contact form. All are populated with basic information. The temporary URL is sites.webnaut.com/angelina. Sites can run under our domain or your own.

Total time: 52 minutes, including making it up as we went along. In actual use, you'd prepare your content off line and just upload or paste it. Actual configuration time was about 20 minutes.

Of course, in practice, your consultant would walk you through the process after giving you some instructions, waiting for you to prepare basic content, and scheduling a couple of mutually convenient training sessions. Failure is not an option.

Every site is unique, and we have not polished this beyond getting it working. You may find it does not yet respond to some odd-sized telephones or other devices. Our rule of thumb is first we make it work, then we make it pretty.

Do you love it? If not, it's easy to improve. Layouts, color scheme and election-specific content are only as far away as your fingers, and you can change everything and add content on the fly with our simple forms.

PS: We came back later and added a few pictures to the gallery and put the preview on the home page. That took about five minutes.
